Sriman Foundation, a charity organization established in the UK with a mission to provide access to education and support to communities in Sri Lanka. We believe that every child deserves an education and that everyone deserves to live a life with dignity and respect. Our focus is on helping rural schools, poor students, disabled people, and poor people in Sri Lanka.
We understand that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and breaking the cycle of poverty. Unfortunately, many schools in rural Sri Lanka lack the resources and infrastructure needed to provide a quality education to their students. At Sriman Foundation, we work to address this by providing support and resources to these schools. This includes everything from building new classrooms and libraries to providing textbooks and school supplies.
We also recognize that many students in Sri Lanka face financial barriers to accessing education. Families struggle to afford basic necessities, let alone school fees and supplies. At Sriman Foundation, we provide financial assistance to students in need so that they can continue their education and build a brighter future.
For disabled people, accessing education and support can be even more challenging. That’s why we work to provide assistive technology, mobility aids, and other resources to help disabled people live their lives to the fullest. We also provide training and support for teachers and caregivers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to support disabled students.
In addition to our work in education, we also recognize that poverty is a complex issue that requires a comprehensive approach. That’s why we work with communities to provide basic necessities like food, water, and shelter, as well as support for income-generating activities. We believe that by addressing the root causes of poverty, we can help communities become more self-sufficient and resilient.
